ICTR’s Annual Report Presented to the General Assembly
12 October 2005 On Monday 10 October 2005, Judge Erik Møse, President of the ICTR, presented the Tribunal’s annual report to the General Assembly. Since the last report, the Trial Chambers have delivered judgements involving three accused and started five trials involving seven accused. Appeals Chamber Confirms Conviction of Kamuhanda
19 September 2005 Today, the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda confirmed the conviction of Jean de Dieu Kamuhanda for genocide and extermination and ordered the immediate enforcement of the two concurrent life sentences he received for the crimes committed during the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.

Tribunal Begins Two Trials
