Convictions of Pastor and Medical Doctor
19 February 2003 Gérard Ntakirutimana (45) a medical doctor practicing at the Mugonero Adventist hospital was convicted today of genocide and of crimes against humanity (murder) by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR). His father, Elizaphan Ntakirutimana (78), a senior pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Mugonero was convicted of aiding and abetting in genocide.

Bishop’s Remains Transferred to Rwanda
18 February 2003 The remains of the late Samuel Musabyimana, former Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Shyogwe in Rwanda, were transferred to Rwanda for burial on Monday 17 February 2003. Bishop Musabyimana passed away on Friday, 24 January 2003 at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Moshi, Tanzania after a long illness.

Election of ICTR Judges

ICTR Deputy Prosecutor Takes Office
